batch file help
« on: October 18, 2006, 09:20:36 AM »
I know it is a simple thing but it has been forever...  I need to create a batch file which will copy specified files from one directory to sites that I need to be able to specify.  The batch starts and ask for project number, for instance, the user types in the project directory number then the batch copies files from that directory and then will ask again for a destination which I am designating three choices so the user needs to be able to say "A" "B" or "C"...  Any body that can tell me how to add the commands needed so the user can specify which file to which place????  Please

Which version of DOS are you running?  It sounds like you are thinking about the CHOICE command.  http://www.ss64.com/nt/choice.html
