I don't mean to insult you...but you're a 27 year old whose primary language is English; you're going to have to use full sentances & some better grammar if you want to clearly convey your problem.  Could you please elaborate on what your problem is?  I'm not so sure I even know what's going on...

"click it on the screen"?  You could mean so many different things by that.  What exactly is "IT" refering to?  Are you talking about when you double click the icon to start the game?  When you click on the menu screen?  When you get into the actual game?  Does the game run OK until you click the mouse and then you have the problem?  Please specifiy!
And stretched like how?  Is it an even stretch like a zoom, or does everything suddenly get really fat/tall?
Does the game continue to run normally when this happens, or is it locking up?

Is that your in-game resolution, or your desktop resolution?  Since I'm not quite when you're having this problem, I'm not sure if your resolution is a contributor to the problem or not.  Windows is usually really good about not letting your desktop res affect games, so it might be that whatever resolution your trying to play the game in isn't supported by your monitor...

...I'll need clarification if I'm going to be able to help you anymore.

Two videocards in one PC. If you had, I think you'd know.

On a side note; have you tried lowering the resolution to 800x600 in your games? And does this happen to other games?

Have you tried downloading the latest patches for the game? I'm quite well out of suggestions otherwise. Try asking on a dedicated Rome forum to see if its a known issue.

ah!  Thank you much - that helps.

I used to have this exact same problem a *L*O*N*G* time ago...However, my problem was due to the fact that I was trying to play Carmageddon on WindowsNT v4.0.  Somehow I don't see our problems being related lol ^_^

I've got a lot of guesses, so I'm going to have to ask some questions first to narrow down the possibilities.  I know you said you aren't a computer person, so just provide as much information as you can & we'll go from there, k? :)

1 - What version of windows are you running?  XP or 2K?  Do you know if you have all the latest service packs from Microsoft?

2 - Did you buy your computer from a store or have someone build it for you?  If you bought it from a store, what is the name brand & model number?  If you had it custom built, how much RAM do you have, and what processor do you have (give the LONG full names, plz)?

3 - I know these are the only 2 games you have; do you have any other software that runs full screen?  If you have some, do they run with the same problem?  If you don't have any, can you download a game demo or something to see if all games will give you this problem?

4 - Could you start using periods & commas? ::) Sorry - I had to re-read your post 5 or 6 times.  I'm really bad at decyphering punctuation-less posts.
