It's only Outlook downloading. sending is OK. The same problem occurs on another PC on the same ADSL line. Thanks for your reply
Are you using Norton on that other PC, also? Neverthless, I can't imagine Norton causing such an extreme slow down. And, Norton scans your outgoing mail, too, doesn't it? So, that seems to rule out Norton as the culprit here.
As Fed said, contact your ISP about this. You might also try using Outlook Express as a test to see whether your email is slow with it, too.
