I can't find a release date on their site, does any one of you happen to know? And do you also happen to know if this will be an add-on madness like Will Wrights previous production?

I believe the release date is set for sometime around September 2007.

Looks just like one of those games that were highly prized but very frustrating/boring;

Black & White
Incredible Creatures (Or something, a strategy game where you had to combine creatures to get different powers..)

Being a Will Wright game, I'd have to say that yes, it's probably a bit like The Sims.

While I don't agree that it's the best Sim Game ever it was definitely on the top of my favorite list too. Did you ever play Sim Ant? Also another great Sim game that most people just dismissed.

I never mentioned it was the best Sim game, I said I enjoyed it the most. 

I'll try Sim Ant if I can still find it in stores.

That's true you didn't say that. As far as finding Sim Ant in stores.. whew good luck.  Although I do recall seeing it bundled with some other older games. There are a lot of copies of it on Ebay though.

I'd sooner go in against the anti-file sharing brigade here on CH than I'd make use of E-bay.
