I am working on installing a USB jump drive on my computer. When I plug it into the USB port, the computer stops me and says that it cannot finish the install without drivers. I am running Windows 98 SP2 on my computer.

Well there is no Windows 98 SP2, so it is something else. If it is Windows 98 SE, then the manufacturer MAY have drivers for the device on their web site. 2000 and XP should not need drivers. As we don't know the brand name of the drive or the operating system, it's your turn.

My suggestion?  Get the drivers.  Crazy idea, I know, but it just might help.
