Hello,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this....
Two days ago, on April 6th, I tried to put my computer on stand-by before I go to sleep like I always do, and it seemed to go into stand-by for everything except the fan. It keeps running every time I put it into stand-by mode. It makes the usual "click" sound as it goes into stand-by, but the fan keeps running. It's really weird. When I try to bring it back from stand-by sometimes, the computer makes three or four clicking sounds, like it's having trouble coming back from stand-by.
I can't think of a reason why, or anything that I did different, except that I had installed a new logitech 310 mouse the same day.
When I shut-down the computer, the fan shuts off. It's not really that big of a deal, but I usually like keeping my computer on stand-by instead of shutting it down every night.
I have no idea if this is a software or a hardware problem, and I'm not that great with hardware, so any help would be appreciated. I'm good at following directions though, so if I need to post more information, let me know.
