More RAM will certainly help...

As to the video card we don't know what you have yet...Sylvia is on holiday.

Yeah, more RAM will probably help out, also make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card.

You can get some nice video cards for that. Check out www.tigerdirect.com or www.newegg.com You should be able to find something really nice.

First, what kind of video card does your motherboard support? You'll need to make sure of that before you buy one. Are you wanting to do gaming with this or just make the videos better? If you want to do gaming, what kind of games do you want to play? That will also make a difference on the video card you get.

Ok, yeah that card should work fine for you then. I'd upgrade to at least 1 GB of ram too. But I say go for it. If it's in your budget I think it should work fine for videos.

            These?

I don't know the "official" name but I call it a slot cover.
Actually I don't since my first language isn't English, but it roughly translates to slot cover. :)

Are they universal? I've never actually tried to replace them before. If they are I'm sure I can scrounge around at work and get some. I've got one sitting on my desk right now. If they are universal PM me your address and I can mail them to you if you want.
