Login Screen
« on: July 30, 2007, 10:45:20 AM »
I just bought my new computer about a week ago, came with Vista Home Premium.

I have my part of the computer set up so that I have to log in with a password.
But lately, it hasn't been asking me for it.
Actually, it doesn't even go to the login screen at all anymore!
I shut down the computer, I bring it back up, it tells me "welcome"...
and then it goes straight to my user: Britain.

I have some really personal info on here already, and if some other people were to get on
they could find it, and that's why I set up a password!

Is there any way that I could re-program it to make it go to the login screen at start-up?

1 Click on Start
2 Click on Control Panel
3 Double-click on User Accounts
4 Click on "Change the way users log on or off"
5 Check "Use the Welcome Screen"
6 Click on Apply Options
7 Close the User Accounts window and the Control Panel
8 Reboot your computer, the classic login prompt will be used

I can't find the 4th thing. There is no check boxes, or anything else.
I did everything up to that point, but there I'm stumped.

Is there another way to get to it?
