web page freezes up when logging in
« on: August 03, 2007, 03:41:03 PM »
A few days ago, I started having a problem while logging into certain websites.  The page just freezes up, and I have to end the program to get out of.   It doesn't happen to every website when I log in.

I have Windows XP, Internet Explorer 6.0.  I can log into these same websites using Firefox but the websites do not support so I need to be able to log in using the Internet Explorer.

I have tried System Restore, went over all the Internet options myself and with an IT tech.

Does anyone have any suggestions?  As I need to get into these websites for my work, any help will be appreciated.

what protections do you have on your computer??

get Ccleaner from ccleaner.com and run it to clean out junk files and see if that helps you can also get the IE tab ext. for firefox

Run your Windows Updates, and download Internet Explorer 7.0
The following links can only be opened in Internet Explorer:
