i wish microsoft would take the windows vista GUI and security, and add to it XP's speed and memory usage. That would be a good basic OS. But there's gotta be some extra new features too.
But why can't Microsoft make two beta releases? Keep those private group of IT's that are tinkering away at actual Microsoft beta software/OS's.
And open up a forum or suggestions page to the millions and millions of regular windows users and regularly unsatisfied windows users or former windows users so we can ask microsoft to incorporate what we'd like to see in the next windows...
After all, if microsoft is attempting to monopolize the OS world, why not make it a successful monopoly by allowing us to help them make us happy?
