Untangling the web: Japan experts publish map of the net

Mapping the great network that is the internet was never going to be an easy task. There would have to be as many connections as there are in the human brain. But for a group of web architects based in Japan, it is worth a go.

      Are they going to make a map of all the personal sites from 1990-present? Pornography? Link farms? How will this map truly improve the Internet?

      Colossal waste of time, IMO. Impressive, but pointless. :-/

        I guess the fact that they are Japanese explains why it looks like a map of the Tokyo train system.

              Dilbert has used xkcd here more tan once, i wouldn't be suprised. though i haven't seen that particular map there yet.
