    compatibility, reliability, user friendliness of linux

    Linux is a good operating system. Give it a try. :)

    Hi,

    I am planning to install Fedora 7 on my laptop.

    I am linux newbie too, so I am going to have both windows xp and linux on one computer
    I guess you can do the same :)

      In my experiences with Linux, well...I don't know if portable linux counts...
