Silent Hunter 3 Wont Run??

I have silent hunter 3 with the latest updates V1.4B, when i try to run the game nothing happens?

First try uninstalling and reinstalling, then running the game without the patch. If that works, apply the patch again and try it again.

What are your full system specs?

You didn't mention any, but I have to ask... is there any error message when this happens?

P4 3.06
DFI INFINITI 865PE Mainboard
2Gb Ram
2X160 GB HDD's
Nvidia 7300Gt 512Mb
Windows XP SP2
DVD-Ram

When i click on the game icon the loading hourglass shows for a second then nothing  ???

I have now got silent hunter 3 running but now i am getting an error message:

"Can not initialize 3D engine"

 ???
