Hello - I am about to switch to a new bband provider (from Comcast to Verizon) and I am clueless as to how I make sure my existing email files/folders etc. remain in tact. I have been told that I do not have to do anything: my existing email functions, files, folders remain the same. The only thing that happens is I no longer receive new mail from my old comcast address? Any thoughts? Thanx, SC

Your existing email is safe.
As for mail, which is still sent to your old email address, you can use email forwarding services, like this one:

What program are you using for email so we can instruct on creating proper backups just in case ? ?
