memory resident virus

Can you please help me?  My computer keeps telling me I have a memory resident virus.  I have done scans and it detects nothing.   Do you have any suggestions?

    Shelly , You didnt say what virus was identified or what kind of a operating system you have.......but if you check out the link it may just help you.
