Have a Z60m IBM Thinkpad notebook (Vista Ultimate) with out Trackpoint or Touchpad capability. External mouse works fine. Have downloaded and installed latest IBM (Lenovo) driver for this notebook (71GX77ww.exe). Have used instructions from Microsoft for installing. But for some reason system shows "Driver not installed" and UltraNav tab does not appear in Control Panel/Mouse. BIOS installed is Ver. 1.24. Seems (Not sure) problem started after system upgrade which loaded Ver. 1.24. Could this version of BIOS be causing problem? Anybody know what version of BIOS I should be using for this computer? And how to get it installed?
