my mouse wheel keeps on turning me back a page i tried changing the settings in control panel that did not help. I am using windows xp and i have a belkin device that switches me between two computers this only happens on one of my computers.

It's likely the KVM switch you are using does not like the mouse...try another one.
BTW this is common with a KVM setup.

The only other thing to check is that the same mouse driver is installed on both machines.
