      Hi!

Firstly, ummm....i would prefer it if you didn't refer to us as "people".

Secondly, you say your computer restarts automatically. Have you ever considered it my be a virus. Viruses often cause computers to behave erratically.

First, your computer may be restarting automatically because its overheating check your CPU tempreture and other computer parts.

Secondly, its very possible as mentioned above by JXY that you have a virus which causes your system log off on its own (thats assuming what you meant in the latest post before it was noted as double-post).

*Note: Next time specify what you downloaded or did any major changes recently which could cause this, plus your computer specs.
Its not what you know, its what you can do that counts!

have you tried booting in safe mode yet?

IF you've been able to login even for a small period of time, have yout tried system restore to undo the update yet?

Have you done as ultimatum suggested and checked your cpu temp. yet? (slightly less likely now)

Kaspersky is a well trusted anti-virus software even though it uses quite a bit of resources I don't think they would put a virus in an update against viruses.

Did you manually update it or automatic update by kaspersky?

well he said it happened just after he installed the update, so it seems logical to assume there's a possibility that it's got something to do with the update.

However, i agree with the fact that it's unlikely. but you never know.

How long have you had the machine?

                  Ever cleaned in-side the case?

i don't think he is catching on. He's started multiple threads, perhaps posted info on his machine on only one of them, and expects to recieve help immediately.

I guess he doesn't understand that our support on his issue is being limited. ???
