    Trying to get up to speed on telephone DSL

    1st time in this forum and hope i am in the right place. Very recently this household (after decades of fighting for it) we finally have emerged into the high speed DSL (from dial up) world. YAHOO!!! However as I'm sure can be appreciated a whole new world of internet possibilities are now available to us (with all their attendant jargon). While i do welcome a challenge i would prefer to get up to speed knowledge wise on what some of this new stuff is all about and how to use it with a minimum of frustration and difficulties. Can anyone recommend a web site where i can learn about "torrents" in a language that does not go 90% over my head? I have tried to help myself in that regard but have only found sites that easily achieve the 90% and higher status. Thanks all. truenorth

        P.S. Just took a quick look and was very impressed. It seems to be written in an easy to understand language.It is also very extensive and looks like it covers the topic very thouroughly. Lots of reading to do now. Thank's again.

        There is also an FAQ and a forum at that site.    Like any forum, if you search it you can find a lot of info.
