Updated to IE7 and Also Downloaded Firefox and Still can not connect

Go back to cmd, type in:
ipconfig /flushdns
Hit Enter.
Type in:
ipconfig /registerdns
Hit Enter
Type in:
ipconfig /release
Hit Enter
Type in:
ipconfig //renew
Hit Enter.

Did all of that still nothing. i loaded IE and still page can not be displayed. I typed in yahoo.com and it said address is not valid?? Weird - JT

Try to go back to IE 6, and see, if it changes anything.

I read if i just uninstall IE& it goes back to the old IE6 by itself correct?

Uninstalled IE7 and now IE6 works good Im back online. firefox still does not work Thanks Broni for all the help much appreciated - JT
