CMOS setup

I am trying to find CMOS setup information and  calculate the capacity of my hard drive. Show me the method of calculation. How do I do this?

    Why would you want to calculate the hd size and what would you use as start data for this calculation?

    And then you can tell us what programming language, OS, etc. If your On windows you can use the GetVolumeInformation() API.
    I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.
