Laptop Processor?
« on: March 13, 2008, 09:03:51 PM »
Well my processor has given me some issues, and my waranty from dell is worth nothing to me, so i was wondering if/where i could buy a new laptop processor, i currently have an intel mobile core 2 duo T7200 (Merom) @ 2 GHz with a socket 479 mPGA.

Its a dell inspiron E1505/6400 and i cant complain, but i want a new processor, and i really dont know where to buy one.

thanks.

I wouldn't try upgrading your laptop's CPU.
It's a difficult task, and will end up costing you more than it's worth.
Newegg offer laptop CPUs if you're dead set on it, but I do advise against it.
What issues are you experiencing anyway?

You can get them on ebay. I just bought a T7500 and am trying to get help installing it. But you get them them fairly cheap as what a new one would cost. My can brand new from a guy thet deals basically in processors. If you'd like his ebay site let me knoow. Hope this helps.
