T-Rex linked to a post on the AnxietyZone board which seems to identify a CH member in difficulty.  Hopefully MichaelLewis will come back with something good to report.

One good deed is worth more than a year of good intentions.

How can you all be so dense?  Only till you have nothing left to live for can you do anything like this.  Just cause your faced with one tought challge never means that you'll get another chance.  I should know.
Windows 7 RC Tester.  Working on it.  Your monitor says etchasketch on the side!

If I fall who is there to pick me up now.  I stand alone but I stand as the gaurdian for whom I wish to protect.  The sound of my blade utters my name as you fall.  For I shall not move.  For those that forsake the very people are wosres

i dont have a copy of it, but i read it before it became inaccessible. basically it was tony richens life story in two long posts. the next day apparently tony richens' girlfriend posted, using his username, that he commited suicide at 6am that day. i dont know if its real or not. it still leaves alot of questions...

        1. why would his girlfriend find it so important to tell everyone on the internet that he committed suicide?
        2. how did she know the password?
        3. if these were left as instructions on a suicide note, why would richens find it so important to tell everyone on the internet that he commited suicide?

all i know is if its real, that is very sad news indeed, if its fake, then this is an incredibly sick joke.

It is very sad news if this is true.

Suicide is a very selfish act.

I think it could have held some importance to him that people over the internet knew, especially if he spent quite a lot of time on the internet, and not much time socializing outside of it.

Many non-religious people believe that once they die, they, essentially, disappear from life ("deleted", you might even say) there is quite untrue.
Where there is a true afterlife, and this belief of "delition" is quite untrue. I do not think I need to speak of what happens to those who commit suicide (an unforgivable sin) once they die, but, God, have mercy.

You'd be surprised as to how appealing the thought of ending your own life sounds when you feel you have nothing to live for.  I suffer from Bipolar disorder and let me tell you that when you're so depressed you can't get out of bed until 2-3 in the afternoon, lack motivation to do anything, and feel like there is no longer a reason to live the thought of OD'ing on something gets awful tempting...

It is an ongoing study as to why many creative geniuses had bipolar disorder.

Perhaps, dealing with simple people like me magnifies your problem.. ???

So,has anyone heard more news about Tony Richens yet ?

I did a search on his name last week, but didn't find much on him. Just a few posts here and there that didn't relate to the issue on hand.
