Alot of programs say i need but i cant find anyone help me please. i got windows xp. when i try to download from update site it dont work

The installer said it ran into a problem and its removing all installed files... then it closed

It says it does but it says its version 2002

All it said was Installer ran into a program and needs to close.. then it closed
