    Good Place To Get These Parts

    Its not that I want you guys to do my shopping or anything, just that you know places an I dont have alot of time like I did.  I need a pent 4 for a socket 478, DDR Ultra RAM going to get a few of these, SATA drive at least 100 gb Maxtor or Western not real pickey about the brand.

      Newegg would be a good choice then.
      Not sure about the 478 CPU though, they are pretty old.

        Newegg is one of the cheapest sites I've been to (Amazon often has good prices, but their selection is subpar).  I just recently bought a 500 GB external hard drive for about 80 bucks.  In my opinion, it's a *censored* good price.  And they're very reliable, ship quickly, and have great customer service.

        Since you have apparently found better prices elsewhere, then why not buy the parts there?

        If Newegg is costly I too would be interested to know where you can find parts cheaper, I'll shop there instead even if I have to import them from the US.

          Well, if you found the item at a slightly lower price at tigerdirect, the total cost, including shipping, may not be less.  Based on my experience, tigerdirect's shipping costs are ususally higher than newegg's.

            It would stand to reason that even if something was a good while back that comparitive shopping would inform you if newegg or tiger were cheaper...
            Hint:
            Pick the parts you want and check the total price at both places including shipping...
