cdrom\harddisk controller problems
« on: February 24, 2005, 06:32:08 AM »
I recently started having trouble with my cdrom.Bos didnt recognize it,I finally got it so when the computer booted up Bios recognized the cd-rom but it doesnt show up in My Computeras D drive or any drive.I replaced it with a new  cdrom player and new ribbon cable.Bios still recognizes it but now I get this message I have a standard Ide/esdi harddisk controller problem.Does this have to do with windows 98se file or driver. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry this is so long but this is driving me banana's.
