Well here we go again...
NEW CHAT.
After a lot of fussing around for the last few hours I have to admit that I'm not that happy with the last chat that was being used. Yes, I should of listened to those of you who warned me about a flash based system. So to the joys of many of you I'm converting over to a IRC back end system. Right now I've got a test link up on the main page at the bottom while I work out some things. So far I'm really liking what I'm seeing and because this is not interfacing with the SQL server or the main site I'd imagine there should be no slowdowns or other issues that we had with the previous chat system.
This system doesn't have a method of showing users who're currently talking. But I've mentally thought up a scheme that I believe should allow me to do this (hopefully).
IRC Server = irc.mibbit.com #computerhope for those wanting to use their IRC client.
Also moved Zero to this server so you can join the computer hope chat and /join #zero to talk to him.
Finally, also I plan on having this in more of a window mode instead of full screen. But until I get it updated it's full screen.
