When you say "ps2" are you referring to a Play Station?

If so I would suggest the XP by default cannot read a Play Station.  You would need to search Sony or the web for XP drivers that would allow it to read a Play Station.

I've never heard of anyone hooking their PS2 up to a computer.  If you want to copy the dvd then why not just do it with the computer itself?

I have tried using just the computer but haven't
figured it out either.  Do I have to have 2 dvd
burners to do this.  I have a cdrom and dvd burner.
Is there a way to copy the dvd to the computer hard
drive and then burn to dvd?

You should be able to put your DVD into the drive, copy to a temp directory then put the blank DVD in and copy to disk.

Sorry, meant to modify above.  If you're going to copy a movie then it won't work as you have to do some compression stuff before it will fit to a burnable DVD disk.

This will work:  http://www.nero.com/us/index.html
Does not copy DVD's with copy protection.

I recommend a search of the CH forums for more on this topic.  It's been answered a dozen times before.
