I prefer "SMF Default Theme - Core" because I like the softer color scheme.

See what happens when you open your big mouth, Carbon?  Ha, now everyone's going blind!  I vote for keeping the colors the way they were.  It felt more welcoming to me.

Sorry for being late...
I really liked Babylon theme, and I'm gonna miss it, if it's gone for good.

Don't mind the #D3E0EB but it'd be nice if the white was some very muted color - I use #ECFFFF in my apps instead of white - gives the eyes an easier time.

Even #EEEEEE altho a grey - takes the edge off white... tho just noticed we have #F8F8F8 already - that's not bad at all, just still a tad 'bright'.

Overall tho no biggie - it's a lot easier to view then some forums!!!

Black theme would go nice.

I wondered what had happened when I logged on . . .
Sorry, but I can't stand these colours, and CH doesn't look right to me in the SMF default theme.

Suggestions?

If no objections are offered we could try copying some of the SMF default color schemes into the classic theme.

It can be brought back, I mainly just removed it so others would give the classic theme a try and provide feedback without just switching back.

Thanks, we'll give that a shot.

Actually, I like the new colours, now that my eyes have gotten used to it.

Changing the white to a less harsh color as suggested by ChrisXPPro. Changed the white #F8F8F8 to #ECEDF3

-Updated. Changed to #ECEDF3; more of a grey than a white.

I'm a little late replying here, Nathan.

I think the less themes you offer your users, the better off you'll be when it comes to adding changes to the forum.

I'm sure you're aware of adding modifications.  The package manager for SMF is a true friend...which I just recently got to work on my forum...however, some of the mods require manual edits, if there are additional themes involved...this can definitely be a pain in the rump!

That's why I don't offer any additional forum themes on the site.  Less to manage and update.

I know there are those who'll complain about the loss of available themes...but, it's better in the long run.

Ok. It'll be brought back. But first can you make any suggestions to why you prefer that theme over the default theme. Also realize that all changes such as the Topic Starter bar, possibly the quick reply changes, etc. that are being done will only be done with the default Computer Hope theme.
