Trying to set up router

Well, actually have not even got very far with this~~just put disc in and nothing happened. Son says the computer can't read disc so, now what?

The disc that came with the router is not absolutely necessary for setting up the router, it's just provided to make setup easier.  Did you receive a user's manual with the router?  Doesn't it explain how to set it up?  If not, visit their website for info.

And, post back here with more detail, as Carbon Dudeoxide advised.
