7.1 channel sound card and i have an 18" subwoofer and a reciver i tried hooking up the subs to the reciver but they made a little quite noise and i figured tghat this may be because it wasnt the right type of like channel for instance for a car sub you would get a class d amp and that is just not outputting the right thing so what i though of was to take the reciver plug in the sub to the reciver and plug the reciver into the subwoofer output on my computer will this work?
