Got two golf courses now under snow.  There is a 9-hole town course, but the big one can be checked out under "Sierra Star Golf Course", see

    http://www.mammothmountain.com/around_mammoth/golf/

What this website doesn't immediately tell you is that there are six or so bears living on the course, but they are nice bears.

I don't play golf (do ski as an aging competent), but have a friend who works on the course who could be of $ help.

In the summer you can also fish in a dozen stocked lakes, and hike as far as your enthusiasm takes you (catch the John Muir and Pacific Crest trails close by).

Who pays for and supports this beautiful, ad-free website?
    All help always greatly appreciated.

Do you really need a crystal ball to predict what will happen? ;D

Stop posting, go here: http://www.uspto.gov/, before some steals the idea from you ;D

      BTW, Ev @ Mammoth...
I did ski in tens of places, but I've never been to Mammoth during winter time, but I visited it in July, during my trip to Vegas, via Death Valley.

No worries. It's roughly 300 miles wide, so it'd have to be a lot of sliding ;D

But it's still one of my favorite Steely Dan tunes....and only one line in the lyrics.

It's almost like you, finding some lame excuses for not getting to your red head, because of some lousy snow, and 10F ;D
