    computer crashing

I have an emachines computer and if I am watching videos or playing games for to long then my computer shuts down completely with a beeping sound coming from my tower. I need to unplug my computer for about 30 seconds before the alarm silences. What could the problem be?

I would have a look inside and make sure the heat sink is secure and processor fan is secure and working ...... could be an excessive heat issue when you put the processor under load....many processors shut down automatically to prevent damage.

Yes, sounds like it might be a heating issue.

        Cheers.

I am not very computer savvy. What is the best way to take the cover off and not damage anything? What exactly does the part look like that I need to check and where is it located?
