Home ethernet setup - not online
« on: March 18, 2009, 10:47:05 AM »
I'm trying to run two PC's back to back using ethernet connections with crossover to play card games.  Both PC's are Windows XP.

HP Pavillion 533C
HP Media Center PC

Both PC's are able to run the same game independently (Bridge Baron 18 - card game) , and game is designed for both internet and solo play.

What windows or dropdowns should I be seeing when attempting to get the two PC's to talk using the ethernet connections and crossover cable?

you want to play multiplayer but on 2 pc's? You can set up a network and LAN the game if it has that option or just connect online to internet on both pc's and play?
