Can't open Internet Properties or attach files to my e-mail

I understand.  Thanks for all of the help.  Funny, I keep getting bumped out of this site.  When I try to write or modify a post, suddenly I am a guest and not because of time on the site. 

Also, I tried to copy the log into the spyware forum and no luck.  It worked in the personal message but not again.  Maybe it knows you are trying to kill it.  Just kidding?

No Brenda, they know, and a lot of them come with databases of blocked sites built in so you can't get help from AV sites, forums, microsoft, etc.

I think that's what it is.  It seems on the surface that I have certain programs but when it comes to having them function, they don't.  It's like they are a false front, a shell.

Man, this has been an education.  Did downloading IE8 cause all of this?

Well, like I said many posts ago, all my problems started with IE8......as soon as I downloaded IE8 dozens of malicious script alerts hit my antivirus, crippling the internet access to a point where I could only stay online for 2-3 minutes at a time, then I would reboot for another 2-3 minutes.....I rebooted over a hundred+ times, got fedup and then reinstalled XP with a new harddrive, which I was prepared for(all backed up)......Hope you get back on your feet soon.
