My laptop wont recognize any usb devices

Hello,
My laptop wont recognize any usb devies.
I've try doing the computer management thing and going under disk management, but there is no storage device in my disk management.
How do I fix this?

Your usb drivers are on the motherboard disc.

What operating system?  If Windows, are you familiar with device manager?  You can check to see if there are any problems with the USB devices, there.

it's windows.
but i dont know how to use the device manager.
i'm not very familiar with this stuff. can you be more descriptive please.

Do you see a section in Device Manager which shows USB (Universal Serial Bus Controller)?

yes I see it. What do i do with it?

Right click ALL instances of both roots and hubs and select Remove....you will recieve a Warning message...ignore it.
Upon re-boot Windows will automatically re-install them.
Do this with as few USB devices hooked up as possible.

i did that just now, and it still didn't recognize anything.

but nothing changed.
