nothing better then notepad

notepad is the complete DIY programmer's heaven. You can code in any language and save to proper filetype. There's nothing to annoy you and a nice large space for you to work LOL ;D

If I fall who is there to pick me up now.  I stand alone but I stand as the gaurdian for whom I wish to protect.  The sound of my blade utters my name as you fall.  For I shall not move.  For those that forsake the very people are wosres

Does anyone know of web desgin software that a lay person can use. One that does take much computer knowledge.

No wonder it's more difficult to use.
More difficult than what?  What are you comparing it to?

I disagree.  Notepad++ is much better.

I started Dreamweaver and still working with it. I also have to do some research and read tutorial about it because plain computer knowledge will not bring us any farther. :)

But notepad, that comes with Windows, is of the utmost simplicity. You only need to type the text. You do not need to do anything else or be bothered to look at or use any of the features that other similar programs may additionally supply. So Microsoft was smart to have included such a program with windows LOL  :D

I think mean it will not bring you any further in being able to use Dreamweaver, don't you?

I understand the simplicity point. But, using Notepad also is the most labor-intensive way of coding your web page files.  Notepad++ is still a text editor but  has some features that make HTML coding a little easier.  For example, it has tabbed windows, allowing you to have multiple HTML files open within one Notepad++ window.  That's just one of many features it has beyond Notepad.

Squall has a habit of talking about software without ever trying it.
