but still many people have not been able to use VPC XP because of their CPU not having the hardware virtualization support that's required! But then again, having XP mode would be nice if an older program working well in XP were to be installed.

I wonder if they'll make it so you can install Windows 7 over Windows XP, but have it so your current Windows XP is transformed into the Virtual XP in Windows 7.....Hmmmm.....

Well, I wish they'd get rid of virtual if they could. But it's hard to get two OS's merged into one natively I suppose.

They must have solved all problems to release an OS that employs this feature.

It was like when people were suggesting Lindows, the merging of windows and linux so that end user can get linux stability and the huge library of software that windows has. I believe that was attempted, but never really got anywhere else we'd have been using it if it were really good.
