Display settings in Vista
« on: May 20, 2009, 02:11:54 AM »
Is there any way to set Vista to go straight to display settings when I right click the desktop and click properties? Or alternitavly restore the original tab layout?

There is no "Properties" under right click in Vista.
You can click Start, type in desk.cpl in "Start search" and hit Enter.
or...
you can create shortcut...
Right click on desktop empty space, click New>Shortcut, paste desk.cpl into the field, name it whatever you want, and you're done.

Sorry "personalise" (spelt with a Z to be technical). So no way to have it old style aka: Right click on desktop and click properties like in Win95-XP?
