I guess people don't realise that only the Admin(s) and possibly mods can see who voted for what on most forums (unless the Admin has it set so everyone can view, which it isn't)...no one else.

That depends on the admin settings actually, it's not always the case.  I don't believe anyone can see who voted for what in fact.
Besides, creating a new poll for this isn't so bad actually, because people's ages do change, hehe.  So, that wasn't meant in the sense that it was a stupid thing to do or anything, I'm just saying there's not often a lot of activity on these polls.

That's what I said. Usually, the default setting (for PHPbb forums at least) is that only administrators can see who voted for what. Sometimes the Admin let's mods view it, and sometimes the Admin allows the poll-maker to choose.

What I'm trying to say is that I don't think anyone, not even the admin, can see who chose what option on the poll.
It's been a while since I've been an SMF administrator though, so I could be wrong.  It's not important anyway.

Well some people are more protective of their information on the internet than others. I'm protective, but my age isn't a HUGE deal on a computer forum.

    With SMF I can't even see who voted for what (I believe). Technically no one under the age of 18 should be telling anyone on the Internet how old they are unless done anonymously or with parents consent. The Internet can have some freaks out there.
