Have you tried running the setup program by navigating to the CD via windows explorer?
I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

    insert CD into drive tray.

    start windows explorer. (or my computer).


    right click CD Drive. select explore.


    Double-click on a setup or install.exe.
    I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

        Oh, I found out what causes the AMT subsystem failure, it's a failure in the licensing subsystem. A quick call to Adobe and they should sort it out for you.  :)

              he never said CS3 was counterfeit- it's not an MS product.

              BUT the issue your encountering is fairly localized to invalid licenses which- surprise surprise- are almost always pirated copies.

              If it's Legit adobe won't have a problem fixing you up. After all, part of the hefty price tag is support!
