How add Video in HTML?

How to the Video files (wmv, avi, flv etc..) in HTML? Which tags will use this concept? ???

    just embed it should be something like <embed src="" autostart="false" loop=1>  been a while since I done it though.
    Windows 7 RC Tester.  Working on it.  Your monitor says etchasketch on the side!
