Exciting indeed fellas!
Being an ex-component level electronic repair technician (that means I have fixed a lot of TVs in my day... among other things) I have been watching this specific technology for the past 10 years very closely.
At one point in time I thought that it would "ready" by the time they shut off the terrestrial based analog TV signals (here in the USA) in favor of the HDTV signals. That of course didn't come to pass. But it is still becoming more and more feasible. They had been having problems with the OLED longevity. Now that they have that worked out, it promises to be the go to technology! I see it even replacing the atypical plasma display (except maybe in the most enormous screen applications... football stadiums and such).
Anyway I cant wait to see the first HDTV using OLEDs! I know that they are out there, but like the Cobalt Blue Crab I've yet to see one eyeball to screen display.
