If I wanted nonsense, I'd go look at some of the perpetual threads in the Games section...   ::)

Dogs are great -- even if they are gullible at times.  The people in your life should be as happy to see you when you come home after a long day (or night) at work.

Cats have got the right idea. They mimic baby crying (I know it sounds daft) but there Purrs actually on a level mimic a babies cry to make us respond. It was on the BBC the other night that 'scientists' discovered this under tone.

My dog. Absolute nutcase he is.

Yeah, I remember reading in a book that cats almost never meow to other cats, only to humans.

I think they're more inclined to hiss and snarl at other cats.  I've heard some sounds out my window that sound like a furious battle is taking place between felines.  Obviously, some folks allow their cats to roam outdoors.

my older cat rarely purrs. (But since he was abandoned by his feral mother when he was 3 days old, maybe he didn't quite learn how to be a cat. guess "purring" is something the mothers teach the kitten's. He was more or less raised by are somewhat retarded dog.

As always that's a wonderful yet disturbing story...

It's actually true. Although strictly speaking my dog isn't retarded.
