I've been running Apache with mysql for months and I'm still puzzled by something very basic. When I start these services I get something that looks like a DOS window. There is a blinking cursor in them but I cannot type there. Can someone explain these to me? Also I need to know how to access a PHP CONSOLE.
I'm running windows XP and need to make some security changes before going on line with the server. Thanks in advance.
