    or you could trick it with w/95 compatibility mode...i ran Command and Conquer Red Alert like that in XP

    Just to expand on what Quantos was saying......  If we are talking about Microsoft installation disks, OEM/factory disks may be installed only on a single computer, endless times if necessary, assuming their is a valid key for it...

    Retail disks on the other hand may be installed on multiple computers, but only one computer at a time, providing that you inform Microsoft of the switch, also assuming that you've got a valid key for it..
