    ? About Avast?

    Avast ran lastnight, In the report it says:Unable to scan, 403 files, Archive is password protected. & Unable to scan,1  File is offline. What should I do?

    Download

    Malwarebytes
    and
    SAS

    Run full scans and see what comes up you may also want to try

      Ran Malware Bytes. Found 1 Trojan Fake Alert. Got rid of it.

        I just got rid of AVG, It was causing problems on my computer. I'm going to run another scan with Avast right now. Will post when finished.

          You cant have two anti-viruses installed for this reason.  You should have know that.   ::)  It cant scan cause there password protected, its ment to keep whats in those private an what not.

            OK I got rid of Avast & Spyware Terminator, I downloaded Panda Cloud Antivirus. It seems to be fine now.

              I never heard of that one but I was talking more twoard Mulreay.  However, avast is better then AVG all consider too some.

              Superantispyware and Malwarebytes' anti-malware can be installed without a problem on a computer with AVG. You should know that.

                   remove the password protection and allow them to be scanned would be my first
                  suggestion....and/or go through all the other suggestions...

                    Archive = Zipped file. (.zip, .rar, .7z, ect...)

                    Password Archive = Password protected zipped file.

                    Remove password = success.
