My computer won't open programs or applications.
« on: August 11, 2009, 12:12:10 PM »
When trying to open anything, such as cmd or a video game, my computer gives a message saying, "Choose the program you want to use to open this file:"
Then it gives me a list of programs such as Paint, Adobe Reader, Windows Media Player, etc...

Normally my computer opens things without giving this window.
The only thing I have done differently is delete a file located in Local Disk, WINDOWS, System32. The file was called dddesot.exe and I was told to delete this by another website in order to remove WindowsAntivirusPro.

I rebooted after I did this and now I have this problem. Can anyone help?
