Freezes the computer
« on: October 12, 2009, 02:16:56 PM »
When I download multiple files freezes the computer does not respond, but reboot with the knowledge that this problem is not repeated, as well as in games
The solutions adopted by
1 changed the version of Windows xp
2 changed Alramat you use two 1g +1 g and replaced it with one 2g ddr2
3 used a new Hard
4 separated all the pieces of excess such as soundcard, image and Alintork
5 Clean fans and opened the cover always
There is no doubt the processor. , But I do not know how much should be hot. Or how measure. And also the Ram. High temperature by touching

Let me see if I got this right.... When you download stuff from the Internet your computer freezes, and you've done all the things above to try to correct the problem?

How old is your computer?

Open up the computer, find a flash light and look closely at the motherboard..

Check for bad capacitors such as the one's shown here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor_plague

They don't necessarily have to be leaking, if the tops of them are bulging upward even a little bit then you'll need a new motherboard

you're welcome

I figured it had to be something on the motherboard....You've clearly covered everything else  ::)
