Should I Download Widows 8 ?

I just an ad to download Windows 8. As you know my PC is infected. Is this a real download or pfishing? It claims it's free. Since my Windows XP is infected what could happen if I try to download?

I would not download anything while infected , you may only compound your problems....cleanup first, then look at the other things you wish to do.

Very funny. It appeared to be an offer from Windows but I was suspicious so I never downloaded it. You never answered me if Apple iMacs never get infected or crash. I am considering purchasing although it costs 3X more than PCs. As they say, you get what you pay for.
